Dear brothers and sisters,
Peace be with you! From March 14th to 20th, 2024, I will be participating in a mission trip to Tijuana, a city on the US-Mexico border, with the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) in the United States.
I sincerely invite you to pray and intercede for us!
Tijuana is a city in the northwest of Mexico, adjacent to the United States, with an area similar to Hong Kong. This city has an extremely high crime rate and is known as one of the "most dangerous and violent cities in the world". Tijuana experiences at least six homicides every day, and it faces many issues related to transnational criminal organisations, including drug trafficking, illegal arms trade and human trafficking. The city suffers from severe security problems and government corruption. Due to the legality of prostitution, it attracts many American tourists seeking sexual services.
During this mission trip, my main focus will be serving the immigrant community in local church shelters. I will also engage in street evangelism and ministering in the red-light district.
Pastor Gustavo is one of the leaders of the mission team. Over ten years ago, he was moved and led by God to establish the Jesus Ambassadors Church (Iglesia Embajadores De Jesús) specifically to serve immigrants. In 2016, he established an immigrant shelter where currently over 1,500 immigrants are hosted.
These immigrants come from various parts of the world, mainly Mexicans and Haitians of African descent, as well as refugees from South America, Africa and war-torn regions. They desire to immigrate to the United States with their families due to issues such as rampant organised crime, extreme poverty and conflicts. Their goal is to provide a dignified, safer and freer life for their loved ones, along with opportunities for education and poverty alleviation. They are willing to take various risks, embark on dangerous journeys, be exploited by smuggling groups and even face arrest, all in the pursuit of becoming legal immigrants in the United States or seeking asylum by illegally crossing the border.
The church shelter receives no government funding and has extremely limited resources. However, they persist in providing accommodation, three meals a day and essential supplies, as well as striving to provide educational opportunities for children. These displaced immigrant communities are in desperate need of encountering God and experiencing His comfort.
Over the past few years, Bethel Church in the United States has been involved in serving the shelter, and these immigrants have personally experienced the reality of God: His ability to comfort the soul, bring joy and heal sickness. Through these encounters, immigrants have been released from their traumatic experiences and found restoration and renewal.
During the week of the mission trip, I will be fully committed and volunteering in the shelter's service work, expressing love and care to the immigrant community. I will also put into practice what I have learned, sharing the Gospel with them, praying prophetically, ministering healing and delivering people from spiritual oppression under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

1. Living out what I have learned, fulfilling the Great Commission
I am currently studying full-time in the online program at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM Online) in the United States. Every week, I listen to multiple sermons and participate in a revival group with classmates from around the world. BSSM Spring Missions are a key focus of the program, allowing me to have real-life encounters with fellow workers at the school and put into practice what I have learned.
The Great Commission, as proclaimed by Jesus, requires us to be living testimonies, spreading the Gospel to the ends of the earth and manifesting His kingdom to all nations. Jesus expects His disciples to continue seeking the lost and broken, setting them free, leading them into truth and facilitating authentic encounters with God.
Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) is dedicated to equipping students from around the world to be modern-day revivalists, bringing the kingdom of God to the earth. The school not only values the students' spiritual gifts but also emphasises their entire lives and lifestyles.
I started contemplating pursuing further studies and equipping myself for the revival in Hong Kong in March of this year. I spent two months seeking God's guidance, and by the end of May, I made the decision to enroll and officially register in the program.
Since starting school in September, I have discovered that God is not only equipping me for His revival but also working in my personal life. He is challenging me to trust His love and power more. In the past, I relied too heavily on my own abilities to handle daily matters and ministry, which often brought me stress. He wants me to believe in His goodness, His unconditional love, His abundant provision beyond what I can imagine or ask for, and to seek Him more. Moreover, He wants me to learn to love myself and others as He does, not seeing myself or others as mere tools. I need to take good care of myself, manage myself well and prioritise relationships with people over being right or wrong.

I aspire to gain more serving experience, expand my network of relationships and have more experiences walking with God. I have longed for God to carry out a large-scale revival work in Hong Kong in the coming years, and I desire to wholeheartedly dedicate myself to this cause:
That Hong Kong becomes a place where God's presence dwells long-term, with the Holy Spirit continuously manifesting and working powerfully.
That the work of the 1,300+ churches and missionaries in this city, spanning over 180 years, experiences a revival.
That God heals the hearts of the people in Hong Kong, especially the healing of the trauma caused by social events and the pandemic in recent years.
That this generation of young people is willing and hopeful to continue living and thriving in this city.
That workplace ministries in Hong Kong continue to have a significant impact, reaching more people.
That God continues to bless Hong Kong as a regional missions base, sending missionaries from Hong Kong and countless overseas immigrants to carry the gospel of the Kingdom and the fire of the future "Great Revival of Hong Kong" to the world.

I hope to broaden my understanding of the world, no longer remaining ignorant or limited by past perspectives. I desire to see God's work in various parts of the world, seeking His heart and intentions for the global context in this era and the future. With a more expansive perspective, I could receive strategies for the revival of Hong Kong from God.

I desire for my life to experience revival firsthand. In the preparation process for the short-term mission, I want to draw even closer to the Lord. After the mission ends, the experiences from the mission will continue to impact my daily life and shape my entire life's journey.

Pray for the restoration of my fervent desire for the Lord.
This year, ministry has been extremely busy, leaving me with little time to simply be close to the Lord. I hope that my heart can be rekindled with fervency.
Pray for further growth and breakthrough in my life.
I desire to grow in trusting God and relying on the Holy Spirit's power, no longer depending on my own abilities.
Learn to face various challenges with confidence and joy.
Work with mission team members from around the world with love and wisdom.
Exercise and utilise my spiritual gifts more.
Seek God's personal revelation and blessing for my future direction.
Currently, my contract with the company is set to expire in late March 2024. I have not yet decided whether to renew the contract or transition to another company for more experience.
Pray for God's continued blessings and provision of opportunities, experiences and salary for the coming year.
As the mission dates approach the contract renewal decision, pray for God to clear the way so that there are no obstacles to my participation in the mission trip.
Pray for the safety of each team member's personal well-being and belongings during the short mission.
Due to severe local security issues, pray for God's protection.
Pray for me to meet the right people destined for my journey.
Form a team in the coming future that supports and cares for each other, walking together and striving for the vision of "Great Revival of Hong Kong."
